HCI Parenting Discussion Series Kicks Off
 

Healthy Communities Initiative (HCI) introduces the “HCI Parenting Discussion Series”.

Now HCI is giving parents and caregivers the best of both worlds- a chance to talk with and get support from other parents/caregivers who are raising Tweens and Teens and get FREE professional advice.

Focus of discussion will include family communications, social competencies, discipline and boundaries, bullying, sex & drugs, children & the media, conflict resolution and more.

The HCI Parenting Discussion Series offers a monthly meeting schedule with professional family counselors on hand to lead the groups and provide FREE advice.

Sessions will be held at Springton Lake Middle School Library from 7:30pm to 9:00pm on the third Thursday of each month, starting October 16 th and continuing through May 2009.

The Counselors who are participating in the series include:
